DYC Turbines Patents
Airblast Injector
The DYC Turbines Motor-Assisted Airblast Injector is designed to improve engine light-off, starting reliability, and safety without using a fuel staging system to incorporate pressure injectors.
This is accomplished by controlling motor speed to match fuel starting schedule and produce a fuel/air mixture within flammability limits, thus preventing common engine starting problems such as flame-outs, exhaust torching, excessive smoke, and unburned fuels.
FREE-FLOATING SHAFT
Conventional engines may require complex lubrication systems to lubricate and cool the bearings during operation which increases the size and cost of existing gas turbine engines.
The DYC Turbines Free-Floating Shaft is capable of producing an air pressure differential to reduce thrust and provide lift and air-cooling for weightless rotor rotation during high speed operations. This eliminates the need for lubrication in both horizontal and vertical applications, thus reducing costs and maintenance frequency while improving portability, emissions, and safety.
Portable Green Power System
Gas turbine engines exhibit high power output and high thermal efficiency and are commonly employed to propel aircraft, generate electrical power, and power ships and trucks. However, most conventional gas turbine engines are not portable as they are typically large, heavy, and require complex and costly lubrication systems.
The DYC Turbines PGPS represents a breakthrough in gas-turbine technology that brings clean, industrial-grade energy generation into a portability class of its own.
