John C.C. Ho, MS

Chief Aerodynamic Engineer

Mr. Ho earned his Master’s degree in Applied Science from the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies(UTIASC) and has over 35 years experience in the Aerospace Gas Turbine Engine business from Pratt and Whitney Canada Inc., Sundstrand AeroPower System and Pratt & Whitney.

Mr. Ho specializes in gas turbine engine compressor and turbine design and testing. He designed and developed a 2 stage FREON 22 centrifugal compressor for Carrier that received the UTC Horner trophy for most outstanding interdivisional technology based cooperation in 1991 shared by P&WC, Carrier and UTRC. Other compressor designs in propulsion engines and APUs includes: APS5000 (Boeing B787), T46-LC1&2 (SAAB JAS39 & KAI T-50), PW500 (Cessna Citation Bravo, Encore, Excel, XLS; Embraer Phenom; GA Predator C flight test engine). Mr. Ho also has extensive training and experiences with the UTC ACE (Achieving Competitive Excellence) program acting as the Hamilton Sundstrand Aero Power (HSPS) Divisional Standard Work site lead. In 2008 Mr. Ho received the Director’s Award in recognition of outstanding contribution to the advancement of Engineering at HSPS for leading the joint HSPS/Embraer ERJ145 soft-FOD RRCA team.
